Restrospective and looking ahead…

I took a little trip down memory lane today.  Errrr, again.  I tend to do that quite a lot.  No, not lot, let’s say quite a bit and avoid any potential “land measurement” terminology.  If I don’t, I’m sure I will have to get into acres, and hectares, and so on.

I suppose I should mention that I am feeling punchy today.  I slept forever last night, but I am extremely fatigued anyway.  That was what prompted the trip down memory lane this time, I suppose.

After New Year’s Eve, I became extremely tired — more so than usual, to the point that I often felt I couldn’t function any more once half the day was through.  And my photographs show the difference.  Less than a year ago, I was vivacious, rosy, and not a toothpick.  By the time I had surgery, a corpse had more color than I did and my bodyweight was diminishing – rapidly.  It was alarming to see the difference in my pictures.  It was like a hideous photojourney through cancer.

Soooooo, I have to learn how to upload photos onto this blog, I’ve decided.  We may as well do a photo reporting of cancer and chemo.  This way, when I look back in later years, I can be happy that I look healthy again. 🙂  Oh, and I will post bald pictures of me — why not?!

Monday is the big chemo consult — aka the day I get my regimen from the new oncologist.  I am either exhausted because there are still some cancer cells floating around in me, or just because of the low-grade stress pounding away at my brain like a nagging headache.

If I figure it all out today, the photo journey will begin.  Cross fingers, toes, and eyes for me: this technology stuff is not my bag!

Blessings to you all…
