CAS Friday Philosophy #3

It’s that time again!  🙂

I’m starting to really enjoy collecting quotes for this particular blog.  Today’s theme is courage and competition.  My engines are running, so it seemed to fit.

This first quote is a perennial favorite of mine:

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.
Lao Tzu

There are two powers in the world; one is the sword and the other is the pen. There is a great competition and rivalry between the two. There is a third power stronger than both, that of the women.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah

I think that one is self-explanatory. 🙂
And, courtesy of my Dad —
You may be able to beat me, but I promise that it will hurt you a hell of a lot more than it’s going to hurt me.
Ron Slee
There are some thoughts for you on this gorgeous Friday!
Blessings to you all…

  1. Hmm it appears like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.

I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any recommendations for newbie blog writers? I’d definitely appreciate it.

    • I would recommend a schedule. As I am sure you can tell, it’s something I still struggle with (note the three blog posts in one day). I find that, when I am disciplined with my posting schedule, I maintain a blog following, which opens this forum up to discussion. I can’t think of anything more specific at the moment, but definitely ask away if you have any questions!
