So, yesterday, in the midst of the classroom party, costume wearing, and Trick or Treating mayhem, I turned 37! Woo hoo! It was a terrific birthday, and I am still recovering from the enormous slice of cake I ate. 🙂
Today’s philosophy quotes are a chocolate overload induced mish mash of ideas and sentiment. No rhyme or reason, just thoughts.
“All goes onward and outward, nothing collapses,
And to die is different from what any one supposed, and luckier.” ~ Walt Whitman
I figured the quotes need to at least reflect the spirit of Halloween or Dia de los Muertos. Spookiness here we come!
“I was born on the night of Samhain, when the barrier between worlds is whisper-thin and magic, old magic, sings its heady and sweet song to anyone who cares to listen to it.” ~ Carolyn MacCullough
“At first cock-crow the ghosts must go/back to their quiet graves below.” ~ Theodosia Garrison
“True love is like ghosts, which everyone talks about and few have seen.” ~ Francois de la Rochefoucauld
A blessed All Saints day to you all…
