Taking Aim…Tuesday Thoughts

My friend’s mom shares a thought for the day with her each morning. At that point, my friend usually sends the thought of the day to me, because I love each and every one of them. On Sunday, she shared the following:

“To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.”

I haven’t stopped thinking of it since. I love her mom.

With that same friend, there have been many discussions about kismet, timing, serendipity. All fantastic topics for today’s thoughts! 🙂

“It was karma, it was kismet, it was magic. It doesn’t matter how it happened, just that it did.” ~ Shannon Hale

“Vital lives are about action. You can’t feel warmth unless you create it, can’t feel delight until you play, can’t know serendipity until you risk.” ~ Joan Erickson

“There comes a time when the world gets quiet and the only thing left is your own heart. So you’d better learn the sound of it, otherwise you’ll never understand what it’s saying.” ~ Sarah Dessen

“A good archer is known not by his arrows, but his aim.” ~ Thomas Fuller

Happy Tuesday, and blessings to you all…

In keeping with the discussions of the last two weeks:
