I grumbled on my FB page yesterday about new sore spots because of splurging (haha) at the gym yesterday and using the elliptical trainer. Today was a rest day from running, so I took a nice slowwwww walk to try to work out some of the kinks.
It hit me during those slow steps that part of the reason I’ll enjoy even the fatigue or soreness is because of those months where the walk to my kitchen was a journey. It was a work out just doing the slowest activity.
So, small things. Once you’ve realized that there are simple daily things you can’t do, you really appreciate the rebuilding. And, the ability to jump in and do anything again.
