Friday Philosophy…Mystery

Mystery is not simply Sherlock Holmes or Nancy Drew. Just as we can see the magical and the miraculous in our every day lives, so can we see the mysterious surrounding us at each moment.

“I do not at all understand the mystery of grace – only that it meets us where we are but does not leave us where it found us.” ~ Anne Lamott

“The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion that stands at the cradle of true art and true science.” ~ Albert Einstein

“Every life is complicated, every mind a kingdom of unmapped mysteries.” ~ Dean Koontz

“Vision is the art of seeing things invisible.” ~ Jonathan Swift

“Earth’s crammed with heaven, And every common bush afire with God;
But only he who sees, takes off his shoes –
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.” ~ Elizabeth Barrett Browning

“We have to stop and be humble enough to understand that there is something called mystery.” ~ Paulo Coelho

“There is always more mystery.” ~ Anais Nin

Blessings to you all. Never give up. You are a great mystery, in and of yourself.
