Friday Philosophy…Commitment

With all of the upheaval of 2016, I have to say that I am looking forward to a New Year. I know that there will still be challenges, because when are there not any challenges?! I am anticipating the fresh start of a calendar change, even though I know I will be writing the wrong year for at least a month. 🙂

So, to close out the year, I thought I’d look at commitment. No matter what happens in 2017, I hope we all honor our commitments to ourselves and our integrity.

“Individual commitment to a group effort – that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.” ~ Vince Lombardi

“Unless commitment is made, there are only promises and hopes…but no plans.” ~ Peter Drucker

“You always have two choices: your commitment versus your fear.” ~ Sammy Davis Jr.

“Freedom is not the absence of commitments, but the ability to choose – and commit myself to – what is best for me.” ~ Paulo Coelho

“Every champion was once a contender who refused to give up.” ~ Rocky Balboa

Blessings to you all. Don’t quit, don’t give up.
